GSC CAVALIERS Game

Break out those Cavs jerseys and get ready to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the defending NBA champion, the Toronto Raptors. The game will be played at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse (formerly the Quicken Loans Arena) on Thursday, January 30th at 7 p.m. Gather your graduate school friends and get ready to have a night full of basketball and fun! Tickets are limited.  Tickets are $10 each. One ticket per graduate student.  Tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable.  NO transportation will be provided. The ticket is only valid for the January 30th, 7 pm game.  Must have a Flashseats account to receive your ticket. More information about Flashseats here. Tickets will be transferred using Flashseats 24 hours prior to the game.

Assistant Residential Community Director (ARCD) position

The Assistant Residential Community Director (ARCD) positions are 10-month live-in positions that supports the creation and facilitation of an integrated residential learning environment, working through the mission and goals of the Office of Residence Life and the Division of Student Affairs. This embedded position works with their Residential College/Community Director (RCD) supervisor to provide comprehensive leadership and support for a community of residential students. Immersed in the student community, the ARCD and RCD actively manage the learning experience at both the community and individual level, monitoring and supporting students' holistic academic, social, and personal development. CWRU Lunar New Year Celebration

Celebrate Lunar New Year 2019 with Case Western Reserve University on Friday, January 24 at Tinkham Veale University Center! Lunar New Year is the most important holiday for billions of people around the world. It was originally observed as a time to honor household and heavenly deities and ancestors, and today it brings together friends and family for feasting and fun! CWRU invites all members of the campus community and the public to experience this exciting and free cultural event which will feature popular Asian snacks, hot chocolate, green tea, a dance performance and a fireworks display! Student organizations will be providing games and traditional Lunar New Year activities for the crowd! There will be a free gift for the first 350 students who enter TVUC with their Case ID! The festivities begin at 7:00 pm and the fireworks will begin right outside TVUC at 8:00 pm. CWRU’s Lunar New Year event is presented in partnership by the Center for International Affairs, Office of Multicultural Affairs, First Year Experience and Family Programs and the Office of the Provost. Please expect security and limited access to parts of Wade Oval and surrounding areas during the Lunar New Year event as fireworks are involved, and safety is our top concern.

CWRU Journey: a new way to schedule career consulting appointments

CWRU Journey is now available for you to make appointments with career consultants on campus. In addition to scheduling appointments, Journey provides links to commonly used resources and a tool to create individual success plans. Try signing in to see how it works: journey.case.edu Through Journey, you can also schedule appointments with pre-professional advisors, entrepreneurship specialists and other staff from Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education. You will no longer use Handshake to schedule appointments; however, it is still the premier resource at Case Western Reserve to explore on-campus employment, internships, careers, employer events and career fairs.
