In partnership with Launch Chapel Hill and University of North Carolina's Eship Center, Happel will talk about his work at Nike, including driving product sustainability strategy and business development for affiliate brands. Happel is also an investor in an active angel fund and from 2008-2013, helped raise funds and grow Portland called Wicked Quick, an apparel brand.

Meet Josh Levy (CWR '23), a computer science student interning Josh Levywith Edifice Analytics through the REP Program.

“During my time with Edifice, the main task that I will be working on will be chasing down various leads and adding them to an existing database of potential customer information. By the end of the internship, my goal is to accumulate around 100 promising contacts for the company to pursue.”

Goodyear Innovation Challenge

Goodyear Innovation Challenge is a virtual business innovation and design challenge in partnership between Goodyear and CWRU. The top five teams will compete at the end of February for a chance to compete for cash prizes up to $5,000. Submit team information by Friday, Jan. 15, 2021.

Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U)

CGI U and Verizon have partnered up to support college and university students in creating innovative, sustainable enterprises that address pressing social challenges through technology. The CGI U 2021 program includes a social impact curriculum, high-touch mentorship, seed funding opportunities, and an invitation to a virtual summit in partnership with Howard University. Applications are due by Friday, Jan. 15, 2021.
