The University will be closed from Monday, December 23, 2019 through January 1, 2020. This means our last business day this year is Friday, December 20, 2019. The Mandel School and the University reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2020. Please plan accordingly and enjoy the extra time off!
A new Google shared drive has been set up to hold information shared at our All-Staff meetings. Please navigate to your Shared drives in Google and look for "Mandel All-Staff." It contains the agenda and PowerPoint slides, as well as any other items presented at All-Staff meetings. We will also use this drive to share other items with all staff.
Right now, please log in to view the Gender Bias Survey results, the Outcomes Update Report, and to obtain the list of videos mentioned by the Mandel Staff Working Group. These are the videos intended to inspire conversation about our School's climate which are also being viewed by the faculty.
Please let Craig Zullig know if you cannot access this drive.
Last week, an email was sent out stating that Conference Rooms 121 (Dean's Conference Room), 219, and 365 in the Mandel Building will be locked when not in use. Please be aware of a slight change: based on feedback, 219 and 365 do not have to be locked at all times, but they should be locked after 3 p.m. whenever possible. Room 121 will remain locked at all times.
This change is necessary due to non-Mandel groups using these spaces without reservations. Signs have been posted to remind users that these are scheduled spaces and that priority is given to Mandel School faculty, staff and students.
Please be aware that any key to a Mandel Building space will unlock these doors. If no one in your meeting as a Mandel Building key and the door is locked:
Please lock these doors upon departure (121 at all times, 219 and 365 after 3 p.m.) if you have a key.

Three Questions with Jennifer Collins-Lakner.
 1. What does a typical day at work look like for you? My days vary quite a bit, from writing reports to conference calls all day, conducting evaluations at various sites, or traveling to and from evaluation sites.
2. Where is your favorite spot on or near campus to work, read or study? I travel frequently throughout the country conducting evaluations at community mental health centers or work remotely in Columbus [I'm on campus very infrequently].
3. What is one of your favorite hobbies, or what hobby would you pursue if you had more time? Running/exercising, reading (mostly novels), as well as traveling with my husband. Our favorite place we've been to is Amsterdam, but we've only been there once since we try to go to a new place each time we travel.
