Closing Out the Fall 2025 Semester

As we approach the end of the fall semester and the start of winter break, we want to take a moment to reflect on all that you've accomplished these past few months. Your dedication to your studies, research, and professional development continues to inspire us.

Congratulations to Our Graduating Students

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to those of you who have completed your programs this semester. Your hard work, perseverance, and scholarly contributions have been remarkable. As you move forward into the next chapter of your careers, know that you carry with you the knowledge, skills, and relationships built during your time here. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and wish you all the best in your future endeavors. We look forward to seeing all you'll accomplish as Weatherhead alumni!

To Our Continuing Students

For those of you returning in January, we hope you take this time to rest, recharge, and spend quality time with family and friends. You've earned this break. The spring semester will bring new opportunities for growth and discovery, and we look forward to welcoming you back to campus refreshed and ready for what's ahead.

University Closure

Please note that the university will be closed from Wednesday, December 24 through Friday, January 2. During this time, many faculty and staff will be away from email or slower to respond. However, essential campus services will remain available throughout the break.

CWRU Winter Break Airport ShuttleAirport Shuttle Image

Case Western Reserve University students can take advantage of airport shuttle service ahead of winter break. Shuttles running between campus and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport will be available Dec. 12–14 and Dec. 16–18.

The shuttle will stop at the following times:

  • Friday, Dec. 12: noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 13: 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, Dec. 14: 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 16: 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 4 p.m., 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Dec. 17: 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 4 p.m., 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 18: 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon

Pickup locations will be at the Juniper Residential Community and the nursing stop across from Fribley Commons.

Pickup at the Juniper Residential Community will be on the hour, with pickup at the Nursing stop at 15 minutes past the hour. Students should allow one hour and 15 minutes for pickup and travel.

To schedule a ride, call or text shuttle dispatch at 216.368.6604. Dispatch is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Rides must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.

When scheduling a ride, students will need to provide the following information:

  • Name and cell phone number 
  • Location of pick-up: Juniper or Nursing stop
  • Day of flight 
  • Time student would like to be picked up (allow an hour and 15 minutes for pickup and travel)
  • Any additional information that might be pertinent, such as need for wheelchair access, amount of luggage if over two bags
  • Confirmation will be sent via text with pick-up date and scheduled pick-up time (based on availability).

Students should be prompt during pickup; the shuttle will follow a strict schedule.

Interested students should speak with their program director to confirm
what electives are permitted for their respective program of study.
