Unite and Ignite: Interfaith Leadership Advance

You are part of the most religiously diverse generation in our country’s history. Differences in faith and worldview have the potential to fragment society– we see no shortage of this "othering" today. But this same diversity of belief can be engaged to bring us together to tackle our most important challenges. This work is interfaith cooperation, and it takes the right skills and practice to make it a reality.  Learn new skills as you unite with fellow student leaders ready to advance this conversation across CWRU.   Let’s explore what interfaith cooperation can be for CWRU on  This conference is open to all first, second and third year students and will be facilitated by the Interfaith Youth Core (ifyc.org).   This conference is co-sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Inter-religious Council and University Diversity Collaborative. Register now for Unite & Ignite: CWRU’s Interfaith Leadership Advance.

Clean and Screen Day

Please join us on Saturday, February 1st for the annual "Clean and Screen Day" at Case Western Reserve University's School of Dental Medicine Dental Clinic! This is a day dedicated to providing free dental cleanings, oral health screenings and radiographs.* All treated guests will receive a voucher to waive the admitting fees ($90) and patients who qualify and agree to treatment for national board examinations will receive an additional $100 treatment voucher to use for any additional services at the dental clinic. Doors will open at 9:00am on Saturday and patients will be seen on a first-come/first-serve basis until Noon. You will be asked to fill out contact information prior to being called into the clinical area. There you will meet your dental student care team and answer a short medical history, receive a periodontal disease and oral health screening, and have approximately 4-6 radiographs ("x-rays") made. It will be determined by the dental faculty whether your care today will include a regular dental cleaning or if you need a more advanced cleaning procedure- therefore it is possible that you may not receive a dental cleaning that day and have to make future arrangements.* Please note this event is for new patients only, 18 years and older. We look forward to meeting you! If you have any questions prior to February 1st please call 216-368-6800 and ask to speak to someone about "Clean and Screen Day". Thank you! *some restrictions may apply to provide you optimal care
