Subject: Resources for Students over the Summer

Hi First_Name,

Reach Out App

As we head into the summer months, University Health & Counseling Services will continue to offer our services, including all the remote care that we recently launched- primary care, injury/illness care and mental health services. For continuing CWRU, CIA, CIM, and KSUCPM students, UH&CS can continue to be your provider whether or not you are taking summer classes through August 14, 2020. In light of the economic challenges this health crisis has created, we will not charge students additional out-of-pocket fees for accessing services during the summer.

All students in Ohio can receive care from our medical and counseling providers. Limits on care for students who are residing out-of-state continue, but we remain committed to assisting students by providing guidance, support and, if necessary, connections to a licensed provider in the area.

Students can call our 24/7 Counselor on Call at (216) 368-5872 and our 24/7 Nurse on Call at (216) 368-2450.

Upcoming Programs for Students

UH&CS are offering several virtual programs for students over the summer. Additional information and registration can be found on the UH&CS Campus Groups page or by calling (216) 368-5872.

Motivated to Moderate

For students who are concerned about their use of alcohol and/or various other substances. It is a non-abstinence based program, which means it is not required that students want to stop using, but must acknowledge that their substance use plays a role in their lives. Students will set personal goals and work towards making changes that are meaningful to them.

These sessions provide virtual access to informal, 30 minute, confidential consultations.

Sessions are available:
Tuesdays 11:00am- 12:00pm
Thursday's 3:00- 4:00pm

Students must register in advance and pick a call time. Zoom information will be sent after registration. Open to all CWRU, CIA, CIM and KSU Podiatry undergraduate, graduate and professional students.
