Ohio 6- Week Abortion Ban

Ohio is in the process of passing a bill, House Bill 258, which will ban abortions after the 6-week mark. At this point, many women do not know that they are even pregnant and it is still considered an embryo. The bill was originally passed by the house but must be approved again after changes were made to take out the requirement of a transvaginal ultrasound. The bill contains no exceptions for rape or incest, although allows for abortions in extreme cases of the mother’s health being at risk or if a medical emergency prevents a physician from detecting a heartbeat. Anyone found having an abortion after this period could be charged with a fifth-degree felony, which can carry a penalty of six to 12 months behind bars and a $2,500 fine. You may contact your representatives, like Larry Householder, the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives to express your opinions by calling at (614)466-2500 or going HERE. Recycling Crisis and Changes

The majority of the US’s recycled materials have been shipped and sold to China. Now  “with dirty waste continuing to appear in imported recyclables, the rising cost of labor, and an abundance of the country's own potentially recyclable waste,” they are no longer doing so. Plans to divert shipments to Southeast Asia have failed, so many municipalities are cutting back on recycling or stopping altogether. Many organizations have called for “wish recycling,” where people try to recycle unwashed or improper materials, to stop. We ask that you brush up on what may be recycled, especially since Case has changed their requirements and try to educate others as well. Also, support organizations such as Ecodom, which looks to use recycled plastics to solve the housing crisis in Mexico. SOURCE1. SOURCE2.
