Upstander: Project Connection Dialogue Series
Many of us have been taught the definition of consent, but what does that actually look like? What do we actually say? In this dialogue we will talk about ways people ask for and receive consent in real terms. Also, since consent is a question, we may sometimes get a no. We will be continuing our discussion about how to deliver our chapter policies in a meaningful way and learn skills to lead the conversations, while also reflecting on your roles and what experiences you want your members to have. Partners in Health Engage
Help us financially support our maternal health event on May 1 and other maternal health organizations and initiatives! Succulents will be available for pick-up on Thursday, April 29 between 4:30-7:30pm and on Friday, April 30 between 11:30am-3pm at the Koch atrium of Tinkham Veale. If you register here ahead of time, each succulent is $3.50. If you walk-up and buy one during these times, each succulent is $4. Please plan to Venmo or PayPal us (@sjreif3) or pay cash upon picking up your succulent. There are also a limited number of delivery spots. These will be delivered between 11:30am-3pm on Friday—we will reach out to you upon registration to confirm details. It costs $2 extra for delivery.
