Wow! I can't believe that February is almost over! I'm counting down the days till my Miami trip! But, before we all go on our spring break trips make sure to sign your waiver for Greek Games and submit your Grade Release on MyChapter in your MyHousing.

In other news Giortaste is this Tuesday, we are so excited to celebrate the accomplishments of the amazing people in our community! Also, there will be Grub In the GLO this Friday (2/23) from 12:45 - 2 pm.

Pierce Fellowship in Education and Human Development

Postgraduate fellowship in Greece, this time at CWRU's bilateral exchange partner, the American College of Greece in Athens. Fellows will work at Pierce College, ACG's K-12 school either teaching English or working with high school students on their US, UK, or other international English-language university applications. 

Remuneration includes roundtrip airfare to Athens, room and board, medical insurance, work transportation, Greek language courses at Deree College, and $500 monthly. Applications are due March 1, 2024.

Study Abroad Information

Planning to study abroad for spring? Next semester? How about for a whole school year? If so, make sure to complete your application by March 1st for Fall 2024 & AY 24-25May Term and Summer faculty-led courses and Summer study abroad program applications are due March 15th.

To get started, meet with a study abroad advisor to make the application process a lot smoother. To schedule a meeting, go to MyJourney. Or stop by our drop-in hours on Tuesdays and Fridays in Tomlinson Hall Suite 143 from 12:45 pm-2 pm and Thursdays at OMA from 1 pm-2 pm. 

Order of Omega Spring Application

Are you a leader within your Greek chapter? Do you want to bring your skills to the Greek Life community level? The application to join the Order of Omega is now open and will close on March 1! Questions can be directed to Becky Hammill (rmh149@case.edu) or Mallory Bouque (mcb180@case.edu)

SpartanThon

SpartanThon raises money to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals through participating in a 12-hour marathon! We stand for 12 hours to imitate a nurse's shift at Rainbow Babies (our local CMNH). You are more than welcome to come for the whole 12 hours or just 1! Feb. 24th, 12 pm - 12 am Tink Ballrooms. Dr. Dorothy Pijan Student Leadership Awards

Student Leadership Awards are now open! This is a wonderful opportunity for us to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of our student leaders, organizations, and programs within the CWRU community.

To nominate a person, organization, or program, including self-nominations, please use the Campus Groups form here -  https://cglink.me/2cS/s94571. Nominations are open until Friday, March 1st. The nomination form only takes a few minutes, and you can submit multiple nominations.

Nominations can be submitted for student leaders, organizations, or programs that have significantly contributed to the CWRU community over the past year. Your insights and recommendations will be crucial in ensuring that deserving individuals and groups receive the recognition they deserve.
