The libraries of Case Western Reserve University are now available on the OhioLINK Libraries app, which provides access to library information, services and resources. 

With the new app, users can:

• View your library account: See checkouts, holds and loan limits for borrowed materials;
• Search our collections: Find physical and digital sources and request materials from other locations for pickup at their library of choice;
• Check hours and event details: Enjoy quick access to the hours of all of CWRU's libraries and check out upcoming events at Kelvin Smith Library
• Request help: Access contact information for libraries to quickly get assistance;
• Discover additional features: Reserve a room fast through the quick links icon, answer library polls and more. 

Download the OhioLINK Libraries app (through the Apple and Google Play download links), select Case Western Reserve University, log in with the CWRU network ID to install and enjoy the benefits of a new pocket library.

Explore Lake View Cemetery during the 15th annual Run Through History

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to participate in the 15th annual Run Through History at nearby Lake View Cemetery Sunday, Sep. 20. This event is a 5K run and 2-mile walk/run starting at 9 a.m. The Spartan Running Club plans to participate in the run.

Participants can set their own pace as they make their way through the historic and scenic cemetery. Among the notable figures buried at Lake View Cemetery are President James A. Garfield and industrialist John D. Rockefeller.

The race can be completed individually or as part of a team. Dogs also are welcome to join.

All participants will receive a commemorative race bib, T-shirt, and post-race refreshments.

A lifelong Northeast Ohio entrepreneur, Rayburn has built and grown companies in industrial distribution, sports and entertainment, private investment, and cannabis. In this discussion, he will share lessons on operations, leadership, business development, and scaling organizations through periods of growth and transformation.

Rayburn is the founder of Buckeye Relief, a Level 1 cannabis cultivator and processor based in Eastlake, Ohio, and owner of Amplify dispensaries across Northeast Ohio and Columbus. Prior to Buckeye Relief, he led investments through Big Game Capital, with interests including the 2016 NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, minor league baseball teams, and the 10,000 Lakes Music Festival. Earlier in his career, he grew Flexalloy Inc. from a 20-person company in two cities into a 400-person business across 13 cities before selling it in 1999.

The UCLA Center for Healthcare Management Case Competition provides healthcare management graduate students an opportunity to put what they have learned into practice. Student teams (up to four members) from around the world are challenged to provide solutions and recommendations to a real-time, real-world management challenge faced by a Southern California healthcare system. Teams have 88 hours in November to complete their analyses and the top eight teams visit Los Angeles to present their ideas to healthcare leaders in January. This format enables the exchange and dissemination of ideas, as well as professional networking.

FIRST PLACE: $12,000
SECOND PLACE: $8,000
THIRD PLACE: $4,000
FOURTH PLACE: $2,000

The deadline to register for the UCLA Center for Healthcare Management Case Competition is Monday, November 9, 2026.

GSC is still accepting applications for the Vice President of Student Organizations (VPSO) position. The VPSO serves as a liaison between the GSC and graduate student organizations, supporting recognized organizations, helping coordinate events and resources, and representing student organization interests within the Council.
Applications are due by September 28, 2026.

Important Notice for Previous Applicants: If you applied for the VPSO position last semester, you must still complete the new application form to be considered for this position. The previous application form is no longer being used, and this is a new application link.

Online & Professional MBA Academic Calendar

Weatherhead's Online and Part-Time/Professional MBA programs follow the "Online MBA Academic Calendar". This is a different academic calendar than the "Weatherhead Graduate Academic Calendar" above and may apply to 3-credit hour courses.
