Mark your calendars for the Dream Fund
Beginning February 1, under-resourced undergrad students at CWRU will have the opportunity to apply for a $2,000 award from the Dream Fund.
The Dream Fund can be used to offset the costs of:
conference attendance
leadership development
studying abroad
living expenses related to internships
professional development
other experiential education opportunities and more
Applying to the Dream Fund was my only avenue to finance this study abroad experience through scholarships. This support marked the completion of my undergraduate studies and propeled me closer to my career goal of becoming a bilingual physician.
As a low-income student, I understand all too well the financial barriers that often stand in the way of pursuing education and personal growth opportunities – which is why I am so grateful for receiving this fund.

Last Day for Nominations!
Show that faculty or staff (student affairs staff too!) that you appreciate what they've done for you!
Nominations are being accepted for the J. Bruce Jackson Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Mentoring and the Carl F. Wittke Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching.
Participate in a shoe drive to raise funds for Zeke's Service Dog Fundraiser, to help a local, multiply-disabled individual get a service dog.
Donations of gently worn, used and new shoes will be accepted. The amount of money raised is determined by the total weight of the shoes collected.
All donated shoes will be redistributed to microenterprise partners through Funds2Orgs, a for profit social enterprise, and used in developing nations for impoverished people to start their own businesses.
Drop off shoes in the Disability Resources office (Sears 402 - right across from OMA!) during regular office hours.
Microsculpture is a ground breaking project by the photographer Levon Biss that presents insect specimens from the Oxford Museum like never before. Each of the high magnification portraits are created from around 8,000 individual photographs! These images reveal an unexpected and often breathtaking beauty and make visible the many intricate adaptations to the form of insects - what entomologists call their microsculpture.
