The Mandel School recently updated its emergency closing policy. Click here to review and become familiar with it. Note that only central administration can close the University during the day, but that the Mandel School can decide if it needs to cancel evening or weekend actvities (after consulting with the Office of the Provost). Once a decision is made, this policy clarifies the steps we take and who communicates the decision. Please contact Craig Zullig with any questions.
Come and receive Stop the Bleed Training - all faculty, staff and students are welcome. The Stop the Bleed program hopes to provide lay people with the skills, equipment and mentality necessary to save a person's life. This training will provide simple hemorrhage control skills and hands-on practice (using foam equipment). This training is provided by CWRU's Emergency Medical Service department. Mark your calendars for Friday, April 12, 2019 from 1 - 2 p.m. (Mandel Center 115). Please RSVP here and contact Angela Kavadas with any questions.
Visit the Think Big website to learn more about creating the University's future. Check out the Think Big calendar of events (this week's events are below) and remember each Thursday is "Think About It Thursday" - a different question will be posed each week to spark conversation.
