Civic Responsibility: What Does It Mean To Be A Good Citizen?
Date: October 25, 2018 | 4:00pm - 5:00pm | Guilford House
Purpose
As we approach the mid-term elections, the purpose of this session is to provide Scholars with an increased understanding of their civic responsibilities to their family, friends, and community. We will discuss the key distinctions between personal and civic responsibility and identify the barriers and conflicts that may arise between the two. The presentation will also afford Scholars the opportunity to identify methods to be more civically engaged and politically minded.
