MSASS Finance and Administration will be conducting a phone inventory during the upcoming weeks as part of a process to audit the charges for these services. MSASS IT will visit each office area to record the phone number, serial number and MAC address of each unit. Please reach Rachel Blake or Eileen Connell if you have any questions.
You should have recently received a vacation and sick time balance statement. Please note your sick time accrues from year to year, but you can only carryover a year's worth of vacation into next year (past 7/1). Do you chronically lose unused vacation time? During this July and August, you can donate fiscal year 2020 vacation days to an MSASS vacation donation bank. These days could help other MSASS staff who have exhausted their paid time off in the event of a medical leave. Questions about this? Contact Melissa Van.
Darnell Parker, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Title IX Coordinator, will return to MSASS to dicuss both Title IX and University misconduct policies. This session will provide practical guidance and help answer questions such as: What does it mean to be a mandated reporter? When are employees required to report? What is the reporting process? What about incidents that occur off-campus, such as at conferences? Please join us Friday, January 18, 2019 between 11:00 and 12:30 p.m. in Mandel Center 108.
