Hecks Cafe

OMA’s Flavorite of the Week

by Steve Furlow
All aboard, the Rapid Redline for a recommended friends day out, that you would not want to miss! In Ohio City, near the Historic West 25th District, resides a restaurant that serves one heck of a dish! I'm talking about none other than the CLE city slicking social spot serving some of the best burgers near the Downtown area; Hecks Café. A short rail ride and quick walk away provides grade A grub that won’t deflate your financials.

This place owned by Fadi Daoud of Golden Concepts Hospitality challenges you to explore a plethora of flavorful sandwich combinations working in concert to create a unique dining experience. Not a fan of having beef with your friends? I totally understand! Hecks has valid salmon and chicken burger options that will please any palate. With promising sides like onion rings with spicy aioli or the Hecks fries; and well blended milkshakes that will make you widen your eyes, this place is truly a vibe!

That is this week’s Flavorite, so savor it, and be sure to DM OMA on IG if there is a food nearby that I should try. I plan to chew and review it, because I cannot wait to share all of the treats that I come across while eating my way through these one of kind Cleveland Streets!

Happy Sampling!
