Lauren Welch is leaving her position as Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications where she has worked since August, 2017. During her time at the Mandel School, she has completed Sustainable Dialogue Training and served as Communications Chair for the Ellipsis Institute for Women of Color in the Academy. She has accepted a position as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Karamu House. Her last day is Monday, June 3, 2019. She is grateful for the people she has met throughout her time at the Mandel School who continue to motivate and inspire her. Please wish her well in all her future endeavors.
The next All-Staff meeting will be this Friday, May 17th, at 11 a.m. in Room 108 at the Mandel Center. Please join us for the last meeting of the academic year. Our tentative agenda is:

We need volunteers! Please sign up via this link - our apologies to those who were not able to sign-up via the link sent last week. We will meet in the Noble Commons at 12:15 (immediately following the All-Staff meeting). Lunch will be provided for volunteers and with enough help, the work will go quickly (and probably be fun!). Please note custodial will be cleaning all floors, vacuuming classrooms, and cleaning bathrooms. Our effort will focus on furniture set-up, decorations, and detail-cleaning specific areas. Lunch will be provided for the volunteers. Thank you in advance for helping make this event memorable for our graduates!
Yes, we know you were waiting for this exciting announcement... it's time to clean out the two refrigerators in the Mandel Building (1st floor student kitchen and 3rd floor staff/faculty lounge). This is partly due to Commencement preparations and partly to keep the refrigerators clean and usable. Please stop by this week to remove any of your items. All food containers and older, opened bottles, jars, etc. will be discarded on Thursday, May 16th starting at 3 p.m. Any unclaimed containers that are worth saving will be placed on the counters, but must be picked up by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17th or they may be thrown out.

In preparation for a President's Office event being held in the Noble Commons on May 30th, technicians will be experimenting with lighting settings in the Noble Commons area (1st and 2nd floors). Don't be alarmed if lights are off as tests are made. All lighting will operate normally during Commencement weekend.
