In this issue:
 Rebecca Bray's last day at the Mandel School was Friday, October 4, 2019. In her three years as a Research Associate at the Begun Center, she worked on several projects regarding violence prevention and youth mental health and substance use. Rebecca plans to spend more time with her 15-month old son and pursue part-time clinical social work positions. A 2016 graduate of the MSSA program, Rebecca is looking forward to staying in touch with her former colleagues and professors.
Hopefully, many have explored the new and improved features that were installed this summer in Classrooms 105, 106, 107 and Room 115. These are some of the first spaces on campus to have this technology, and in combination with the other features (such as built-in cameras and microphones) are among the most advanced classrooms on campus. The screen sharing technology is so new that the University will highlight its use during an event on October 11, 2019 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. in Bingham Building, Room 240. This is a hands-on workshop and attendees are invited to bring a mobile device or laptop to fully participate.
The Wellness Office has created six wellness walking maps that range from one to three miles. Visit the Wellness website to download the maps.
You can also join the One to One Fitness Walking group which meets Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. Learn more on the One to One Walking Club MeetUp site.
