Mandel Center: We are aware that the Center has had heating and cooling problems this season. The cause of the problems has been identified, and technicians will be performing maintenance to the air handling unit and reprogramming certain controls to correct this. We will continue to monitor the progress and provide updates when possible.
Mandel Building: We are aware of heating problems, generally in certain faculty offices and in the Research Commons. Facilities is aware and the issue is air pockets and sediment in the perimeter hot water heating system that cause blockages, resulting in cold offices. During the summer, this system will be shut down, drained, and correctly refilled.
Mandel Center, Room 115: Please be aware that this room can only accommodate theater style seating for 90. This capacity reduction is due to removing broken chairs.
