Happy April, everyone!

The last month of classes has arrived!!! At least for us, this semester has flown by (as usual). We hope that you all finish the semester strong and we wish you luck on your last weeks of class and your finals! To our graduating students, good luck with your post-graduation endevours – we know you'll all do great things!

Despite the semester ending soon, we still have plenty of events for this month. One particularly exciting event coming up this week is the Rainbow Gala hosted by oSTEM@CWRU and the LGBT center on Friday, April 8th at 8PM. Make sure to keep reading to learn more about this and the rest of April's events!!!

The Rainbow Gala

On Friday, April 8th at 8-11PM, oSTEM and the LGBT Center are partnering to host The Rainbow Gala in the Tink Ballrooms. Come for a free night of food, dancing, a photobooth, and drag performances by both students and professionals!!! We'd like to celebrate our queer friends and classmates, but ALL students are welcome – and feel free to invite a date or a friend! Formal wear is encouraged.

Our friends at Out in Tech have a special event coming up that you don't want to miss! They're queering finances through a series of financial empowerment workshops and rapid talks. They'll be discussing personal finance, diversifying income streams, side hustles, and more! Join them April 7th at 4PM ET.

Out 4 Undergrad Fall Conference

Applications for the Fall 2022 Out 4 Undergrad (O4U) Engineering, Marketing, and Tech conferences are now open!!! Applications are open until May 1st (you can apply in any round, but earlier applications are encouraged)!

Each year, O4U invites a diverse class of high-achieving LGBTQ+ undergraduates from across the world to an all expenses paid networking and professional development conference. Hear what life and work are like at some of the largest and most elite firms, connect directly with recruiters, and learn how older LGBTQ+ professionals navigate the demands of the workplace.
