EVENT
Denim Day Reclamation | 2024 Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Join the Mather Center in both wearing denim and coming to decorate denim items on April 24th! Learn about the history of denim day, and how it symbolizes that what we wear is not an indicator of our consent to any activity. Come take a study break (and bring a friend!) for this empowering and creative activity, which is part of our series of events for 2024's Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
This event is also part of the university's It's On CWRU initiative to disrupt the culture of violence, aimed at helping everyone in our campus community recognize the role they can play in reducing and preventing violence. It is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
Congratulations to both of our March Napness finalists!! over the past month we have been impressed by your sleeping capability. Please join us in congratulating the champion winning team Sigma Sigma Sigma and runner up team Delta Tau Delta!
As a reward for your napping skillzzz and participation, all members who participated from both teams will receive a prize!! Keep an eye on your emails for more info.
Thank you again to all who participated and have a great rest of your semester!! 😴😴😴

Bae Chi O is a pageant-style competition that we invite representatives from other chapters and campus organizations to participate in. The event is held during sexual assault awareness month and in addition to the competition which will have a section devoted to the cause, there will be a professional speaker who has worked in assault prevention efforts. We also will be inviting student organizations with similar purposes to table at the event. All proceeds from ticket sales and raffle baskets will go towards a local shelter for survivors of domestic violence and assault.
Join UPB on April 20th at East Bell Commons between 2-5pm for UPB's annual food truck! Make sure to sign up for 1 of the 3 time slots available. We hope to see you there!
