A travel signature is valid for up to one year for current students.  For alumni on OPT or STEM OPT, the travel signature is valid for six months.

To request a travel signature, go to our website and scroll down to the request to reprint your I-20 or DS-2019.   Clicking on the link will take you to Terra Dotta to complete your request. Allow 5 - 7 days for processing.

Is Summer Your First or Last Semester on Your I-20 or DS-2019?

When summer is your first or last semester on your I-20 or DS-2019, you have to enroll full-time.  There are very few exceptions to full-time registration requirements, and only the VISA Office can determine whether you qualify for one of them.  Always register for full-time and never drop below a full-time courseload without first speaking with an advisor in the VISA Office.   Improper registration could have serious consequences, including termination, for your visa status.
