 Dear Students:
We hope your clinical work is going well. We hear great things about the work you are doing with patients. We are also always happy to see you back at the HEC or on the various Zoom calls. Please make note of the mandatory class meetings. It’s our chance to see you and hear how things are going.
We’ve recently learned that due to federally changes affecting all VA hospitals including the Cleveland VA, student onboarding must start 8-10 weeks in advance of the start of a rotation. We have done some work to make assignments to VA rotations earlier, but we need you, the students, to respond to the various emails about the onboarding process. Failure to do so will put you at risk of not having access to the CPRS, the electronic health record used at the VA. For elective rotations at the VA, please try to plan them with advanced notice so we can support a seamless experience for you.
