Hug a Senior

Wow, the semester is almost over. This year, we started off with a nice little snow day, welcomed new leadership across many chapters, dined in luxury as we celebrated at Giortaste, cursed in traffic when MLK lost a lane, evacuated... when Phi Psi's smoke machine set off the fire alarm at Jungle Rumble, stared at the sky to watch an amazing eclipse, blew out our shoulders at rope pull, and ate many Many MANY snacks at the Greek Life Office. However, the semester is not over yet!!

CWRU Commencment is on May 19th. A really big day for every student who has earned a degree this year. Every upperclassman experience will be different and the excitement and unknown of the future may seem, well, new. As we near the end of the semester, why not reach out to a graduating student? Invite them out to lunch? or Give them a hug?

Change is hard and every one manages change in their own way. Soon the class of 2024 will be moving to new towns, entering new positions, attending grad and professional classes, making new relationships, or simply trying to find their next path. To all of our graduating Greek Life students, we are so incredibly proud of your accomplishments on campus. Your scholarship, citizenship, leadership, and ritual through your chapters has made a lasting impact on CWRU and more importantly to the next class of students.

While your time as a student may be coming to an end, you will always be a CWRU Greek!! This week, if you feel yourself loosing touch or need a wellness boost, why not spend some time with your chapter? There is probably someone there who would love to see you.

“Take the time to enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” —Robert Brault, Author
