Hey Greek Life!
What do you call a fish wearing a bowtie? Sofishticated.
Now that I have your attention, let's jump into this week's newsletter. I know we're all super excited for summer, but here are a few final things before the semester comes to a close! Check out the links to sign up for First Year Move-In and Greek Games committee!
First Year Move-in Volunteers
Here's a message from Student Activities and Leadership:
We are looking for student leaders who are interested in helping our first year students and their families move into their residence halls. First year move-in is an important CWRU tradition, and we would like you to be a part of it. This year's arrival for first year students will take place on Sunday, August 17th, 2025.
While returning students are allowed to move in starting on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, students who are assisting with First Year Student Move In can move in on Saturday, August 16 at 9am (for university-operated residence halls and Greek houses) free of charge. Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt and lunch the day of first year move-in.
Volunteers will be asked to attend a short training session Saturday evening (August 16th) and MUST be available from 8am to 4:30pm on Sunday, August 17th. Groups will be assigned a shift from either 8am-12:30pm or 12pm-4:30pm in an email sent out the first week of August.
To register, please go HERE. If you and members of your group would like to move in early and participate in first-year move in on Sunday, August 17, priority will be given to student groups who sign up by Monday, April 28. If you have any questions or concerns, please email studentactivities@case.edu
Last year we had more than 500 students participate. Don't let your group miss out on meeting the first-year students.
Please Note: Students who sign up to assist, arrive early and do not check in and participate in move-in, will pay for their early arrival ($50/night) until the University approved move in date (August 20, 2025) and their lunch on move-in day (charged directly to SIS account).
Come celebrate and find joy in community with like-minded advocates for reproductive justice! PPGEN’s spring flagship event on April 18th is a space for fostering positive interactions surrounding the reproductive justice movement and reminding us that we have strength in community and shared values. Come do some fun art, meet student organizations focused on art and advocacy, and hear from inspiring speakers about the benefits
