Let's Talk: Drop-in Consultation
At Case Western Reserve University, we want to promote the health and well-being of all our students. In addition to individual and group counseling and a variety of other counseling services, we offer Let’s Talk. Let’s Talk is a drop-in service that offers 1:1 informal, confidential consultation with a UHCS counselor.
Who is a good fit for Let’s Talk?
Students wanting to talk through a specific problem or stressor
Students in need of support and unsure of where to find help
Students who are unsure if counseling is the right fit and want to try out speaking with a counselor
Let’s Talk is available at no cost to all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students at CWRU, CIA, and CIM as well as KSU podiatry students.
Let’s Talk consultations are typically about 20-25 minutes in length.

Let's Talk About Sex...ual Health
University Health and Counseling Services (UH&CS) is excited to pilot a new sexual health education program this semester, open to all Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) students. The Let's Talk About Sex...ual Health series provides students with evidence-based education on topics including female and male reproductive anatomy, contraception, and menstruation.
The program is designed to foster an open, judgment-free environment where students can ask questions, gain accurate information, and enhance their understanding of how to care for their sexual and reproductive health.
These programs are eligible for Explore credit and open to ALL CWRU, CIA, CIM, and KSU School of Podiatry students. See below for dates and registration links.
University Health and Counseling Services is bringing Mental Health First Aid—an evidence-based training program this fall led by certified trainers from CWRU. Mental Health First aid prepares participants to recognize warning signs of mental health challenges, offer compassionate initial support, and guide individuals toward appropriate campus or community resources. The curriculum covers common conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and substance use, and emphasizes non‑judgmental listening, risk awareness, and referral steps.
UH&CS is proud to announce that we have welcomed ten new Peer Health Educators to the team. If you are not familiar, our PHE team is a group of students who are committed to creating a culture of wellness within the CWRU community. PHEs advocate for and promote health choices, personal well-being, and community safety through leadership, education, and awareness through workshops and on-campus events to meet the health and wellness needs of CWRU students.

This month's Wellness Wednesday is focusing on sexual health. You don't know what you don't know, so let's get in the know. Let's talk about sexual health and how to practice it while on a college campus. Curious about what services and resources are available throughout the CWRU community, like UH&CS and OMA. Join us for a judgment-free conversation on October 15th from 10 am to 11 am.
Flu shots are available for free to all CWRU, CIA and CIM students, and CWRU faculty and staff. All participants need to bring their CWRU ID. Please wear an outfit that allows the upper arm to be easily exposed.
Please see the chart below for this fall's flu clinic schedule:
