Virtual Advising is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., EST.
If you have a question or concern that you need to address during that time frame, reach out to an advisor through the chat box. The chat box (it looks just like the picture) will be available on our website.
In-person advising is also available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 1 to 3 p.m., EST.
CWRU Take Two- ISS Closing Early on Fridays Through July
CWRU Take Two is back on Fridays through July so staff will be unavailable as of 3 p.m. and appointment times will be adjusted to end earlier in the day as well. Please plan any Friday visits accordingly.
Regular Friday business hours will resume in August.

OPT & CPT Workshops
If you're still planning to apply for OPT or CPT, don't forget to complete the required workshop, which goes over in detail the application process, student responsibilities, and other important considerations. Advisor-led workshops will resume in the Fall and, in the meantime, you can always access and complete an online workshop at your convenience.

Campus Happenings
Party on the Quad
Faculty, staff and students are invited to the annual Party on the Quad Thursday, July 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. Due to construction, this year’s event will be held on the first floor of Tinkham Veale University Center and Freiberger Field.
Food from Bon Appétit Management Co. will be available in the Tinkham Veale University Center on a first-come, first-served basis. Ice cream will be served on Freiberger Field.
The event also will feature music by a DJ, outdoor yard games, raffle prizes and a photo area with props.
Attendees must present their CWRU ID for admission.
The Department of Human Resources and the Staff Advisory Council’s Staff Recognition Committee sponsor Party on the Quad.
Summer Send-offs, July 23–Aug. 7
The Alumni Association is excited to welcome the incoming Class of 2026. Celebrate with us at one our Summer Send-off programs—in person or virtually. Please join us to connect with CWRU alumni, staff, students and parents as well as meet incoming students and families from your area.
Safe Ride at Case Western Reserve University continues to provide after-hours transportation service to the community seven days a week from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
The serviceis open to all students, faculty and staff at Case Western Reserve. All Safe Ride vehicles are driven by security officers.

Global Cleveland is offering a 9-month program for international newcomers. This program will give you the opportunity to network with other international newcomers and to meet with, as a group, various leaders in our community once a month. The Global Rising Program aims to prepare our region’s foreign-born residents with the skills, knowledge, and tools required to grow and thrive in our community.
The deadline to apply is July 31.
