GirlCodeCLE Volunteer Interest Form
WISER is partnering with NCWIT AspireIT and Beachwood High School student Stephanie Yen to produce her project GirlCodeCLE, an outreach coding program partnering with Warrensville Heights Middle School to bring about 20 middle school girls from underrepresented backgrounds (esp. African-American and/or low-income) to CWRU's campus from 11 am - 3 pm for two weekends in March, specifically March 21, 22, 28, and 29. We need 12-13 student volunteers who would be available for at least TWO of these days in March. Volunteers would be responsible for assisting students with using micro:bits and the computer program Scratch, helping facilitate group activities, and helping with set-up and clean-up of food, materials, etc. On each day of the program, volunteers will need to arrive at Nord at 10:30 am and will be volunteering until 3:30 pm.

Free food will be provided for all volunteers on each day they volunteer (lunch). If you are a member of a sorority, these volunteering hours will count as service hours.

We are particularly looking for more volunteers available on March 22 and/or 29. Volunteer registration deadline is MONDAY, MARCH 9TH. If you have any questions, please e-mail lkh38@case.edu or steph.yensy@gmail.com.
