Jennifer Palinchik:
Jennifer Palinchik is the president and co-founder of JALEX Medical LLC, a biomedical design consulting business. Before co-founding JALEX she worked on spinal implants and stem-cell research and design. This year she was on the list of Notable Women in STEM 2019 Crain's Cleveland Business publishes as well as in their Forty under 40 list.
She graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering in 2003 and obtained her MBA from Ashland University.
Patricia Ackerman:
Patricia Ackerman is the co-founder of IndeedWeCode, a coding program for African-American girls. Though she retired, she is the national coordinator of the Black Lemonade Project, BLACK Lemonade for All, and serves both Chalkdust Education Foundation and IndeedWeCode as executive director. This year she was on Crain's Cleveland list of Notable Women in STEM 2019. She received her B.A of English from the University of Ohio and a Ph.D. from Kent State University in Educational Administration.
Laura M. Bernstein-Kurtycz:
Laura M. Bernstein-Kurtycz is a Ph.D. student at Case Western Reserve University studying animal behavior and welfare. She currently works at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on animal behavior.
Shivani Marwaha:
Shivani Marwaha is a Manager IT at Cardinal Health, a health care services company. She received her BA in electronics from the Savitribai Phule Pune University in India and is an alumnus of the Case Western Weatherhead School of Management.
