Data Governance Committee February 2021 Updates

Hello Data Governance Committee Members and Campus Stakeholders,

Committee Progress Last Month:
  • Charter 
    • Approved by the committee
    • Approved by executive sponsors
  • Employee data self-assessment approved
  • Website Updates:
    • Added image to progress page
    • Added guiding principles to policy page
    • Added content onto FAQ page
  • DG CampusGroup updates:
    • Changed access settings so homepage and contact pages are open to everyone (public) and all other pages and documents are only accessible by CWRU students, faculty and staff
    • Internal individuals subscribing to group will continue to get monthly email updates
    • Charter is posted in Website Documents folder (CampusGroups>Documents>Website Folder)
Next Steps:
  • Begin drafting data governance policies.
