About Us

Our mission is to improve health literacy and agency of under-resourced Cleveland communities with health education, advocacy, and meaningful engagement. Through community outreach opportunities, our members gain awareness and the skills to address socioeconomic barriers to health, especially food insecurity. We foster creativity and open-mindedness in the communities we serve to improve their relationship with food and other health determinants, giving them a sense of control over dietary choices and overall health. In the future, we hope to make our resources available to similar communities nationwide via virtual media.
