Mission The Health Fluency Project is dedicated to supporting diverse communities from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds in navigating the healthcare system. We recognize that cultural perspectives and language differences often shape how individuals experience healthcare, and we aim to bridge these gaps through education and policy.Through interactive workshops, open-access multilingual resources, and partnerships with different communities in the Cleveland area, we work to break down both language and cultural barriers that contribute to health disparities. Our goal is to empower individuals and families from underrepresented communities to become fluent in the language of healthcare, enabling them to communicate with confidence, advocate for their needs, and receive care that respects their cultural values.
