About Us

Everyone should understand healthcare. The Health Fluency Project (HFP) is a student-led organization at Case Western Reserve University dedicated to making healthcare more accessible through health literacy education. We partner with local community organizations to deliver free, interactive workshops that help underserved and English-learning communities communicate with healthcare providers, understand medical appointments, and navigate the healthcare system. Our members also create accessible educational resources, worksheets, and multilingual materials that participants can take home and use beyond the workshop.
