Erica Chambers is a third year student at CWRU school of dental medicine working on general dentistry. Growing up, Erica enjoyed math and science but particularly had an interest in teeth and oral health early on. She started her undergraduate studies in biology, and then switched to journalism before coming back to her childhood passion, dentistry. She’s active with student organizations as a committee member with American Student Dental Association, the dental branch of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, secretary of the Hispanic Student Dental Association, and class of 2024 representative for Psi Omega Fraternity and Student National Dental Association. Besides school and academic involvement, Erica has been working as an English tutor, an experience that helped her see the perspectives of people from different backgrounds.
