Hello from Mandel Council!

We hope you had a lovely break, and you are having a great first week of classes! We have lots of great programs coming up and can’t wait to see you there! Mandel Council put together a calendar to track upcoming events on campus. Check it out below! 

We have additions to the team! Over the holidays, Mandel Council welcomed our new Online Rep, Jeniel! We also announced the inaugural Adventure Committee members. We are so excited about this idea from Community Night, and can’t wait to see what this new team has in store! 

We also want to re-share this resource GSC put together about Food Security. If you are experiencing food insecurity, there are a number of resources you can access as a CWRU student. Check out these slides to learn more!

Graduating Student Survey (MAY 2024)

If you are graduating in May 2024, please fill out this survey for Mandel Council! We want to celebrate all of the hard work you have done in this program, but we need your help!

Tell us what you would like to see from us by filling out this Google Form by January 28th!

Mandel Executive Council Applications
Applications for the new Mandel Council (Fall 24 - Spring 25) will open on February 1st and close on February 14th. Once the applications close, we will send everyone information on how and when to vote (Feb 15 - March 1). 

We wanted to make you aware of this timeline so that you can keep it on your radar and consider applying! The official takeover will take place at the end of the semester, so you would not have to worry about taking over immediately. Keep an eye out for more emails about this soon.

IW Bagel Brunch - January 27 8-9am

Swing by the Noble Commons before your IW class to grab a bagel and shmear and to reconnect with your MSASS pals!

The Rink at Wade Oval Circle
Yes, it's freezing out, but that hasn't stopped Wade Oval from hosting tons of winter events! Winter is a great time to explore the museums and events in University Circle and then of course gocheck out the ice skating rink!

Paul Taylor Dance Company
Saturday 1/20 at Playhouse Square
Just a fun fact, this is Caroline’s favorite dance company because they are the peppiest and silliest of all modern dancers.
