About The Trip

Trip Timeline (October 18th - 21st):

  • Saturday, October 19th - Trip Departure
  • Sunday, October 20th - Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary
  • Monday, October 21st - Stop at Hershey's Chocolate World and arrive at CWRU

Excursions:

  • Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary is an immersive experience featuring five thrilling haunted houses inside a massive, abandoned penitentiary complex, plus historic tours, themed bars, live entertainment, and more! Students buying tickets through UPB can save $25.75 from regular admission prices. Limited tickets available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Base Cost (without any excursion): $100
  • Ticket Cost (Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary): $125

Hotel Accommodations

  • Quad occupancy with two queen beds
  • Groups of 2 will share one queen bed, sharing a room with another group of 2.
  • More information will be released to the winners of the lottery.

Lottery Information

  • Only CWRU Undergraduate students can enter the lottery and attend the trip.
  • Repeated names will not be accepted.
  • Signing up on the form does NOT guarantee a spot on the trip.
  • The lottery winners will be announced by September 16th, in which winners will receive two tickets. In other words, winners are assured to have one spoken for ticket for a student of their choice. Winners are chosen at random.
  • Everyone's Case ID must be provided in the group to accept your spot.
  • When accepting your spot, two ticket options will be provided, one including a group excursion, the other solely for the trip with no excursion.
