About Us

CUBS aims to foster a friendly, nurturing community for students interested or seeking a career in biochemistry and further cultivate intellectual curiosity in science at Case Western Reserve University.

Our Goals

  • Promote lasting relationships among undergraduate students.
  • Create connections with graduate students, researchers, and department faculty.
  • Establish a more accessible pipeline to biochemical research.
  • Provide exposure to biochemistry-related careers for interested undergraduates and prospective incoming students.

Events & Activities

Biochemical Bonding: Casual hang sessions for students, faculty, and staff to get to know each other, typically with food!

Exclusive Resources

Mentorship: One-on-one pairings between students interested in biochemistry and students with more experience to help underclassmen better understand biochemistry

Connnections

Mixers: Outings solely for students to have fun together outside the academic setting!
