About

Stack's visual style is simple yet distinct, making it an ideal starting point for your project whether it be a basic marketing site, or multi-page company presence.

The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center exemplifies Case Western Reserve University's commitment to serving its diverse student, staff, faculty, and alumni. The space provides an inviting home to members of the LGBT and allied community interested in exploring and celebrating LGBTQIA identities. Beyond the student base, the LGBT Center also welcomes alumni, prospective students, staff and faculty, and community members. The LGBT Center is located at the heart of campus on the first floor of the Tinkham Veale University Center, situated as the first office greeting visitors entering through the Linsalata Entrance off Bellflower Road.

The LGBT Center is staffed by director, Liz Roccoforte, assistant director, AmariYah Israel, and undergraduate and graduate student coordinators. The LGBT Center staff welcome at the front desk, facilitate education programs and conversation groups, and offer advising and advocacy to the campus community. Outfitted with a TV, couch, chairs, ample desk space and more, the Center is a great place to relax, study, or gather to meet and enjoy the company of fellow students. Both informal gatherings and structured events are supported and encouraged. The Center also offers a library stocked with books and periodicals, as well as, brochures and other resources pertaining to LGBTQIA topics. All LGBT Center staff members seek to aid those searching for information or support.

The LGBT Center was previously located in the University's Thwing Center, where it was dedicated as the first permanent space for the LGBT community and allies. The Thwing Center housed the LGBT Center from its inception in the fall of 2010 until the 2014 move to the University Center, where it joined many other campus offices and student organizations central to the CWRU experience. For more information on the LGBT Center's inaugural opening, check out news of the announcement and dedication of the Center.
