The mission of Latine Presence in Nursing (LPN)is to foster a supportive and inclusive community for Latine nursing students by promoting cultural awareness, academic and professional growth, and social connection. Through mentorship, advocacy, and community engagement, we aim to empower students to embrace their cultural identity, cultivate resilience, and take pride in their heritage while pursuing successful careers in nursing.
Members will be able to participate in events that embrace the Latine identity and experience, and how it connects with the career and preparations of Nursing. Members will also be able to gain resources, community, and a sense of support with other CWRU undergraduate nursing students of Latine identity. Events will be both professional and social, each preparing our members for a career in nursing while embracing our heritage.
