We tabled the day before (April 28th) to spread awareness about Denim Day on the 29th! We also set up a mini Clothesline Project, a visual display to raise awareness about sexual violence.
The Journey Center facilitated a domestic violence simulation workshop, showing how difficult it is to leave such situations, along with the importance of getting help.
Women were not allowed to run in long races/Olympic events until the late 20th century, so our 5K commemorates women for that very reason <3 Fundraised ~1K for the Journey Center!
Collaborated with Planned Parenthood Generation Action (PPGen) & Sigma Lambda Gamma (SLG)! Trivia questions & prizes
Collaborated with the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center to give an interactive presentation about supporting survivors.
