The Weatherhead Consulting Club is excited to host Management Consulting 101 with Dr. Mike Goulder (formerly McKinsey and Booz Allen Hamilton). This interactive workshop will introduce the fundamentals of management consulting while providing students with practical tools to succeed in the recruiting process.

The Citizenship Fair is an opportunity for students to learn more about resources for community engagement, service, and wellness. CWRU and community organizations will be represented. English Conversation Hour is an opportunity for all students, faculty and staff of the CWRU community interested in strengthening their proficiency in conversational English as well as those already proficient in conversational English to come together each week for connection and sharing. Weekly hour long meetings are designed to improve pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Join the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent for World Benefit on Wednesday September 3rd (virtual) at 5 PM EST for an information session about our Business for World Benefit Clinic program for the Fall 2025 semester.
The program trains and supports teams of students to serve as researchers, project managers, and consultants for companies that aim to assess and improve their social and environmental impact.
The project ranges from calculating carbon emissions & analyzing data, materiality assessments, road-mapping for B Corp Certification, undergoing B Impact Assessment (BIA) to increase the score on BIA, developing Recycle program, strategic consulting, customer profiling & outreach and many more.
The time commitment expected is about 3-4 hours per week.

What is a Peer Health Educator?
CWRU Peer Health Educators (PHE) are students who are committed to creating a culture of wellness within the CWRU community. The purpose of the program is to advocate for and promote health choices, personal well-being and community safety through leadership, education, and awareness. Peer Health Educators provide workshops services, and events to meet the health and wellness needs of CWRU students.
The in-person Spoken English Language Program Conversation Hour is open to any CWRU graduate students, postdocs, employees, undergraduates, and spouses/partners of CWRU students/employees who would like to participate in conversations and discussions in English. The sessions are designed for those whom English is not their first language. Sessions provide a relaxing, friendly, fun, and intellectual platform to practice academic and social English with groups of people from all around the world. It's a great chance to meet others and increase English skills. You are welcome to come and go anytime during the meeting time.

This Fall, on September 12th from 11 AM - 2 PM. University Health and Counseling Services will be hosting a Fresh Check Day, sponsored by The Office of Greek Life and Office of Graduate Student Life.
Fresh Check Day is an uplifting mental health promotion and suicide prevention event for colleges that includes interactive expo booths, peer-to-peer messaging, support of multiple campus departments and groups, free food, entertainment, and exciting prizes and giveaways. Fresh Check Day aims to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health and helps to build a bridge between students and the mental health resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally.
We encourage any, and all CWRU, CIA, CIM and KSU School of podiatry students (undergraduate and graduate) to join us for Fresh Check Day 2024! All participants who check in and submit a participation card are entered to win a raffle prize. Prizes will be announced closer to the date of the event.
