CWRU Undergraduate Research Society (URS) is Case Western's premier hub for all things research! The mission of URS is to create a network of individuals who utilize their knowledge and experience to help inspire, support, and develop a higher caliber of CWRU undergraduate researchers.
We work towards our mission by utilizing the collective experiential knowledge of undergraduate researchers to support one another in their pursuit of research to find research, connect and network, develop skills, develop postgraduate plans, collaboration, and locally impact our society.
All majors are welcome!
Members gain access to a plethora of resources to assist in the research development process, including but not limited to: informative research application documents, an extensive alumni network, resume/networking help, weekly GB meetings, interdepartmental connections, and many more.
We host Journal Clubs, Research-a-thon, and research panels with guest speakers to help students gain more exposure to the field of research.
We have the Rising Scholars Program that introduces students to the field of research and the Research Scholars Program that allows students already involved in research to share it with the CWRU community.
Join the Mentor-Mentee program! As a mentee, you can learn how to navigate the field of research with the help of your mentor! Mentors can volunteer to help fellow students as they begin their research journey.
