Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Association

Mission: To enhance the community experience for graduate students within the Biomedical Engineering departments at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU)

What We Do

Host BME Student Events

Organize social and professional events such as happy hours, intramural sports, and day trips to connect graduate students within CWRU's BME department

Interface with Faculty

Represent and advocate for the BME graduate students at faculty meetings for issues such as stipends, class and TA requirements, healthcare, and fees.

Interdepartmental Collaborations

Foster connections across other biomedical-centric groups such as BGSO, LTA, and UMBE for both social and professional networking.

Who can join?

All CWRU BME Graduate students both part and full time (including CWRU Biomedical Engineering students in the Cleveland Clinic) are members of the Graduate Student Association!

This means that every CWRU BME graduate student has the right to run for and vote for yearly officers. Every CWRU BME graduate student also has the ability to participate in GSA run events and activities, such as seminars, general body meetings (GBMs), happy hours, etc. See the events page for upcoming activities!
