Amelia Tomak (she/her)

Chemical Engineering; Minor in Business Management

About Amelia: Amelia is a senior from the suburbs of Cleveland. She is involved in American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and participated in an internship abroad. In her free time she likes to go on runs, play tennis, and go on hikes. She looks forward to meeting everyone!

Fun Fact about Amelia: She knows how to water and snowski!

Solomon Greene (he/him)

Electrical Engineering, Circuits, Signals and Control, and Computer Hardware concentrations

About Solomon: Solomon is a BS/MS student in Electrical Engineering from Chicago, IL. He runs Cross Country and Track and Field for the Case team, and has participated in a few different clubs and design teams on campus. Solomon enjoys spending time in nature and is a hobby birder and bird photographer.

Rhyder Swen (he/they)

Computer Science; Minors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems & Control Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Japanese, Computer Gaming, Dean's Approved Minor

About Rhyder: Rhyder is a fourth year majoring in Computer Science with 8 (yes, 8!) minors. He is the president of the Big Games Club (BGC) and participates in a variety of campus activities. He's had summer Software Engineering internships at Viget and Google. Rhyder likes to watch Dropout as well as play various board games and Nintendo/indie video games.

Fun Fact about Rhyder: He holds a forklift cerficiation, an Amateur Radio General license, and is an ordained minister in the state of Ohio, letting him legally marry people.

Sameer Rahman (he/him)

Electrical and Computer Engineering; Minor in Mathematics

About Sameer: Sameer is a third year studying Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is involved with Muslim Students Association (MSA) as the treasurer for two consecutive years. He has worked on a hardware internship at a startup in San Diego, California. Outside of class, he enjoys portrait, landscape and astro photography. He even got hired for paid graduation shoots.

Fun Fact about Sameer: Cookies and cream ice cream is probably the best human invention, akin to the wheel or electricity.

Allison Lee (she/her)

Mechanical Engineering; Minor in Biomedical Engineering

About Allison: Allison Lee is a senior Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from Boston, Massachusetts. She has worked as a Fabrication Student Technician at Sears Think[box], participated in research at the VA hospital, and completed a co-op. Outside of school, she loves traveling, running, and watching Christopher Nolan movies.

Arka Nath (he/him)

Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

About Arka: Arka is a 4th-year Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering major from NYC. At CWRU, he's currently a Resident Assistant, the Brakes & Throttle Lead for CWRU Motorsports, used to be an engineering tour guide, and has even completed a study abroad program. This past summer, he was a mechanical engineer intern designing parts for satellites at ispace-U.S. In his free time, he likes trying new foods, playing video games, and travelling the world.

About Katherine: Katherine is a third year studying materials science & engineering from Lancaster, PA. She is the president of the Undergraduate Materials Society and involved with WISER and SWE. About Wendy: Wendy is a third-year civil engineering student with a structural concentration from Long Island, New York. She is involved with ASCE, Humanitarian Design Corps (HDC), and Tsunagari Japan. In her free time, Wendy enjoys volunteering at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, doing puzzles, and exploring Cleveland!

About Kavi: Kavi is a junior from Las Vegas, Nevada. He is involved in cancer research at Case Western, and participated in the Cansur summer program. He is a member of the Sikh Student Association, and has held an executive position in Humanitarian Design Corps. Kavi's passions include cooking, watching football, and exploring the world.

She loves to volunteer by coaching Cleveland Heights Youth Sports! In her free time, she likes to lift, travel, eat ice cream, and hang out with family/friends.

About Nasheetha: Nasheetha is a Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science major from Dallas, Texas. She currently serves as the President of the Global Health Design Collaborative and is a member of the Bilirubin Detection Device team. She is also a member of Alpha Phi and Girls Who Code. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places, hiking, and baking sweet treats!
