Spring has Sprung (now with snow)
Greetings from the Greek Life Office! To those who have returned to campus or to those who may have never left, welcome back from break!!
We know, we know... spring break was way too short and that snow on Monday made us cry too. On the bright side, campus is waking up!! Soon we will have leaves on trees, tulips doing whatever tulips do, and an abundance of squirrels on the quad, ducks in Wade lagoon, and long lines at the Den because of the semi-annual freshman migration of Clarke Tower.
This week, take some time to be outside (weather permitting) and explore what nature has to offer. Hopefully it will make your day a bit better and help you finish the semester strong. Have a great day!
In bloom: Take a floral adventure around Cleveland
The Daily | March 19th, 2024
As the chill of winter gives way to the warmth of spring, Cleveland transforms into a vibrant tapestry of colors — thanks to the blooming flowers that dot its parks, gardens and urban landscapes.
Spring began yesterday (March 19) and Case Western Reserve University students, faculty and staff have a plethora of options to witness the beauty of spring flowers around the city — whether it’s a peaceful stroll through a botanical garden or a visit to a historic cemetery.
Check out some of our recommendations for where to see spring blooms around the city.

The word "boundary" can often be associated with a negative definition, but boundaries can actually be a good thing, necessary even. Wondering how you can effectively set boundaries, and respect the boundaries of your friends? Join UH&CS and OMA this Wednesday for an interactive discussion of healthy Boundaries, in UH&CS' Healthy Boundaries for Dummies Program.

It’s hard to be cool; clothing can be expensive, and let’s not get started on the price of jewelry. But, with UPBling, you can decorate some fashionable bucket hats and make some eye-catching jewelry. It’s customizable and, better yet, completely free of charge! 👀
On Sunday, March 24th, get dripped up in Thwing Ballroom between 2-4pm. The first 60 people will be getting bucket hats, and anyone that brings their own clothing to be decorated will receive a chance at winning our raffle! If that wasn’t enough, we’re giving out BUNDTINIS from Nothing Bundt Cakes, so there’s really no reason not to come.
On March 26th UH&CS will be presenting a Healthy Sleep Program at the Kelvin Smith Library in room 215 from 3:30 - 4:30 PM. It will be right in time to prepare health sleep habits before April exams.
During this program you will learn about healthy sleep habits, how sleeping supports long-term memory for the exam you are gearing up for, and even build your own healthy sleep kit!
