Partners in Health Engage, Promote Health Equity

My name is Katie Taylor and I am a member of the Cleveland chapter of Partners In Health Engage (PIHE), an organization that works to promote health equity and accessibility in the US and abroad. This semester, we're working to build a coalition of people committed to health equity. I am reaching out in the hopes that any students at MSASS would be interested in attending our information and advocacy training sessions happening throughout the year. Our goal with these trainings is to create a coalition of people who care about social justice and increase support for forthcoming legislation.

We have our next meeting on Tuesday, November 15 at 6pm at Bottlehouse Brewery in Cleveland Heights. We will be providing an overview of core concepts of PIHE, including health as a human right, social justice, and accompaniment, as well as exploring issues that you are personally interested in.

If you or any of your members are planning to attend or would like to learn more about PIHE, please complete this form.

I hope MSASS students will join our fight to make equitable and accessible healthcare a reality.
