Our members volunteer at off-season and official FIRSTÔôç competitions across the West Virginia, Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania (WOW) region. We have volunteered at the Buckeye Regional, Curiosity open, and West Virginia RObotics eXtreme as award judges, event photographers, AV personnel, and team queuers.
The Curiosity Open is an off-season competition hosted by our partners at the Great Lakes Science Center. It features some of the most competitive teams in the WOW region! The competition takes place in the Great Lakes Science Center's special exhibition hall, right on the coast of Lake Erie and next door to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
The Buckeye Regional takes place every year near the end of March at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, OH. This is one of the largest competitions in the WOW region, and co-sponsored by our friends at the Great Lakes Science Center!
WVROX is a biennial off-season competition that lasts for twenty-six hours and fourteen minutes straight! It features competitive teams from all over the country!
