
Leading up to the election in November 2024, OSA members aided fellow students in registering to vote, either for the first time, or to transfer their voting status from their home state to Ohio. Thanks to OSA's efforts, many people who otherwise would not have, were able to vote in the election.

The Ohio Senate Bill 1, which was introduced in January of 2025 and promised to threaten the freedom and quality of post-secondary education in Ohio was opposed by OSA students, not just from Case Western, but from around the state.

OSA held a fair in conjunction with other organizing groups, advocacy clubs, and issue-based organizations on campus, to bring students together and involve them

Every week, OSA members hold meetings to discuss current events, hold trainings for organizing, plan actions, and build power in the campus community.
