Sofia Castro

Sofia is a passionate individual pursuing a future in medicine, with a strong interest in working at the intersection of broader public health systems and community-based interventions. As President, Sofia is committed to driving change at the policy and administrative levels, where she works to strengthen student advocacy and collaboration through her role in UDC. A proud first-generation Mexican American and the first in her family to attend college in the U.S., she takes pride in her heritage and her journey.

Amrita Saini

Third year double majoring in Political Science and International Studies on the Pre-law track. As the VP of PR and Community Outreach, she is passionate about UDC creating the community where students can express themselves most authentically! In her free time, she loves to watch F1, go on long bike rides, and read murder mysteries.

Alyssa Forbes

Alyssa is an international student in the MS/BS program with a passion for business ethics and research. She really enjoys the time she spend with her bunny Lola! Alyssa is the VP of Finance in UDC. She works with orgs to track and approve fund allocation and help treasurers but hosting workshops!

Anurag Rakesh

Anurag is passionate about the intersection of neuroscience and psychology (hence the major) as well as sustainability leadership, climate action and the relationship between climate and health. He loves playing with his dog back at home and as a music fanatic, also plays a couple of instruments! He also enjoys reading books, experimenting with coffee, and growing houseplants. Anurag serves as UDC’s VP of Campus Initiatives. Currently, he is engaged in a program that seeks to connect all fields across the student body in climate action, fostering both awareness on this issue, but also how it impacts every aspect of human lives.

Mariama Bah

Mariama was born and raised in The Bronx, New York, and is ethnically Sierra Leonean. She is a hardworking individual who loves to watch movies and travel, and she’s the oldest of 3 siblings and has the same name as her youngest sister! Finally, fun fact about her she speaks four languages. Mariama is the VP of Internal Development, and her main task is spearheading the New Org Recognition Process. She cares about UDC because she finds it important to foster diversity in an environment where it isn’t prevalent; and she finds that it creates a safe space minority students on campus.

Seema Casey

Seema has 2 younger siblings, speaks 3 languages, plays volleyball, loves traveling, and is obsessed with Mitchell’s Ice Cream. Seema is one of the treasurers of UDC. She handles transactions, payment requests, reimbursements, distributing funds, all things finance!

Willow Lev

Willow Lev is a Neuroscience and Psych double major with an avid interest in baking, hiking, and birding. As VP of External Affairs, she is trying to use her love for baking to foster conversations on the university administration and local issues in Cleveland. Willow is an immigrant and as a non-native English speaker, knows how difficult it is for immigrants to live in the US and wants to do her part in easing the transition into a primarily English-based society.
