Scholarship Opportunities

  • Cleveland Alumnae Panhellenic Association (CAPA) - due by February 28, 2025

    The Cleveland Alumnae Panhellenic Association (CAPA) will be offering non-restrictive $2,000 grants-in-aid for the 2025-2026 academic year to a current collegian or alumna in need of financial assistance. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, service, and need to members of eligible sororities. This grant may be used for undergraduate, graduate, career-related certification, and/or continuing education courses.

    Requirements

    • Be a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing an immediate post graduate degree at an accredited 4-year college/university.
    • Be an initiated member in good standing of a National Panhellenic Conference fraternity that is in good standing with the Cleveland Alumnae Panhellenic Association.
    • Have graduated from a high school in the Greater Cleveland Area and has a permanent residence in the same Greater Cleveland Area, which includes the counties of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Summit, and Ashtabula.
    • Have a grade point average sufficient to maintain good standing within their sorority.
    • Demonstrate on-going involvement in their sorority.
    • Not have been a previous recipient of this scholarship as a collegiate.
    • Provide two recommendations:
      • An alumnae member of the Chapter’s Advisory Board
      • A current university faculty member or employer

  • National Panhellenic Conference Foundations - due March 9, 2025

    The National Panhellenic Conference Foundation offers scholarships to outstanding Panhellenic women. The scholarship application period runs from early December to mid-March each year. Recipients typically are announced in late spring and funds are distributed at the beginning of the fall term.

    All scholarships are open to any Panhellenic woman, with the exception of the Phoenix Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship which is available to Panhellenic women attending a college or university in Arizona.

  • Men's College Scholarship - For incoming first years - due April 1, 2025

    The scholarship is designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated an ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular school activities, and community involvement. The scholarship is available to any male, graduating high school senior who is enrolling in a four-year undergraduate college program that commences in the fall. The scholarship is awarded through the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence, a registered 501(c)3 organization. Current or future membership in a fraternity is not required.

    Requirements:

    • Must be a graduating high school senior in the United States
    • Must identify as male
    • Must have access to a U.S. bank account (for direct fund deposit if selected)
