Greek Honorary Organizations

Case Western Reserve University Office of Greek Life recognizes three honorary Greek organizations, which serve as outlets for students who excel in specific walks of life to further their impact in the Greek Community on a specific level. These organizations are: Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha, and Lambda Eta Mu.

Order of Omega

Order of Omega is a leadership honor society selected from the top three percent of Greek organization members. Order of Omega recognizes juniors and seniors who have exemplified high standards in the areas of scholarship, leadership, and involvement within their respective organization, on campus, and in their local and Greek communities. Order of Omega traditionally assists with activities such as Greek Week and homecoming. For more information on Order of Omega, the application process, and recent events please go here.

Gamma Sigma Alpha

Gamma Sigma Alpha exists to recognize and advance academic excellence as a core value of fraternities and sororities. Our values are Academic Engagement, Congruence, Excellence, Inclusion, Knowledge, Recognition, Relationships. For more information, please go here.

Lambda Eta Mu

Lambda Eta Mu, the Greek Service Honor Society, was founded to enhance the quality of service and philanthropy. The Society exists to recognize those in our Greek community who give their time and talents selflessly to benefit others. LHM believes that through a giving spirit, Greeks continue their dedication to the greater community and a better world. With great humility of spirit, our members will make a difference to humanity by lending a hand to those in need and in doing so will better their campus, their Greek community, and, most importantly, themselves.

A group of service-minded students at Case Western Reserve University representing various Greek fraternities and sororities joined together to create an organization dedicated to honoring Greeks that excel in serving the community through commitment to community service and philanthropy. The Alpha chapter of Lambda Eta Mu was founded on July 8, 2010 as a result of this student effort. For more information please go here.
